Old Memories

Many items trigger old memories. Whenever I see onyx jewellery, I remember a pair of exquisite handmade onyx earrings I bought and subsequently lost in Seoul a few years ago.

I never got to wore them, but I still remember the teardrop shape, and the gold wire-wrapping. There was something so magical about them, that I thought about them for days after they were gone, and now, whenever I see onyx, I think of them.

I've tried looking for similar earrings, but nothing really brings back that pulsating feeling I had the very first time I set eyes on them.
